The George Hotel, Amesbury

"Lovely restaurant, good food, very slow service,"

We frequently dine at the George. The restaurant is very attractive, the food is always good, The waiting staff are always friendly and helpful but there are simply not enough of them. As a result it takes forever to get a drink, to place an order for food and to wait for the food to arrive.
