The George Hotel, Amesbury

"Lovely food"

Booked a meal for my husband's birthday. Staff very friendly but rushed off their feet! Food arrived before the drinks, but both very enjoyable. Unfortunately had booked during the heat wave and as there was no air con, or fans, we decided to leave after the main meal and took our dessert home. Shame to cut short our evening, but would go again when less hot.
