The George Hotel, Amesbury

"Nice food "

I loved the building and decor, everything looked warm and welcoming bright and clean. Food and drinks were also very nice. Lots of options available plus vegetarian and vegan meals.
Unfortunately my meal was forgotten and the staff member had to return to the kitchen to order it while everyone else had their meals. I feel a discount should’ve been deducted from my bill or in the very least the service charge taken off. Apart from that everything else was fine. Staff were friendly and seemed to be trying their best. I understand mistakes can happen but would’ve felt happier If they had tried to rectify it
