The George Hotel, Amesbury

"Fabulous hotel, food and staff"

Wow! This place has certainly had a mega refurb since I stayed previously... The room was luxurious, didn't want for anything..decent hairdryer, TV, ironing board/iron, toiletries, fan.Lovely bar area, beer garden, restaurant , I ate there and 6 others joined me and all said how fantastic the food was.The service was amazing, they assisted me to my room with suitcase and down again on leaving.Definately going back soon! If you have limited mobility please check location of room as there's no lifts and long corridors but ask them to help and they are more than happy to do so.Cannot fault it at all. I was a single female visiting and it was definately to be recommended from that side as well
