The George Hotel, Amesbury

"Beautiful Hotel and restaurant "

We loved the hotel as there is plenty of seating and it felt cosy, warm and welcoming. Food was excellent but it would of been nice if our plates were cleared before dessert menus given out. Also we were in the restaurant from 2 until 4 and the lights were turned down for the evening however when we asked if we could have the lights a little brighter to read the dessert menu the lighting remained the same. (Just a few things but overall lovely experience and would definitely recommend it!
I only heard of the pub through a friend's Facebook post! The hotel is an absolute gem!!!
