The George Hotel, Amesbury

"Food was good, servers seemed confused..."

We arrived early but were seated promptly. Menu was varied and the food was excellent when it arrived - did not have to wait too long either. Liver and bacon was perfect!
One server seemed confused when taking an order for sticky toffee pudding with cream. She asked if we wanted it hot or cold, and we replied 'hot' - so the cream came out hot, as well as the pudding!
Took a while to get the bill as they seemed a bit short-staffed.
All that said, it was a good experience and the price was ok.
Would return.
