The Manor Coastal Hotel & Inn, Blakeney

"A Complete and Absolute Disaster!!!"

I booked a lunch for my elderly Mum, 91 having just been recently moved into Sheltered Accommodation to try and cheer her up; she was absolutely adamant that she wanted to visit the Manor Hotel in Blakeney
There was just not enough kitchen staff to cater for the lunchtime demands;...plain and simple!
I believe there was a large party booked but the entirety of other guests should not have been so adversely affected.
Main course was very slow in coming out but to be fair it was nice when it arrived!
WHAT I COULD NOT BELIEVE WAS THE NUMBER OF "CHANCE" GUESTS BEING TURNED AWAY, PARTY AFTER PARTY BECAUSE "THEY" - the Hotel - COULDN'T COPE AND WERE CATCHING UP!! :-(
AS A NOTE TO THE OWNER/S OR SHAREHOLDERS OF THE HOTEL,....IF YOU KNEW JUST HOW MUCH REVENUE YOU HAD LOST IN THAT SINGLE SESSION ALONE THEN THE ENTIRE MANAGEMENT TEAM WOULD HAVE NO DOUBT BEEN SACKED ON THE SPOT!!
We ordered sweets with reservations,........bad move,..........eventually had to cancel them and leave because the delays had ruined our plans for the rest of the day!!
THE ABSOLUTE FINAL INSULT TO INJURY WAS THAT A COMPULSORY 10% SERVICE CHARGE WAS THEN ADDED TO THE BILL...................REALLY :-((
