The Manor Coastal Hotel & Inn, Blakeney

"Slightly different than expected "

We normally stay elsewhere in North Norfolk for our anniversary but fancied a change. First off it was our anniversary but no recognition of this was made despite the hotel being aware. Our room was lovely but lacks a mini-fridge which would enable fresh milk rather than packaged long life and keep the complimentary water chilled. A great idea would be umbrellas in the room as a lot of rooms are outside of the main building and when it’s raining as it was during our stay it’s a mad dash to try and avoid getting soaked. Complimentary newspapers would also be nice in the lounge area or magazines to read whilst enjoying the area. No shower caps, bathrobes, cotton buds etc in the bathroom.
The decor is lovely and has certainly seen some money spent on it but if you are spending vasts amount on the fixtures and fittings at least keep them clean.
Finally sending this questionnaire the night prior to actually departing seems rather odd and like they want you gone and probably sent in error as it seems to be more directed at a meal rather than a stay/vacation so maybe miscommunication?
