The Manor Coastal Hotel & Inn, Blakeney

"Good but attention to detail required "

The furnishings are lovely but given that it just undergone a refurbishment it’s not surprising. However despite the hotel being aware it was our wedding anniversary no acknowledgement was made - whereas other hotels we have stayed at locally have always acknowledged. We stayed outside in the courtyard and although wellington boots are supplied umbrellas are not in the rooms and these would have proved extremely beneficial. The pillows on the bed are as hard as rocks and both of us ended up with neck pain and eventually I gave up using mine. A fridge in the room would also be beneficial to store the complimentary water and fresh milk rather than long life - there was sufficient space in our room and some. Bathrobes would have also been a bonus given the price of the stay. Also as the lounge is such a lovely place to sit maybe a couple of newspapers or magazines to browse through would be a nice addition - given that spare glasses are on offer.
