Super location, good helpful staff and food generally.
Our room could have been better but it was a late booking and ths staff were helpful getting us in.
A little behind in dealing with allergies and the daily menu needs to have more changes. We are Gluten free (Coeliac) and had to ask every meal for options and exclusions. That really needs updating by management and the Chef in this day and age. It is realy easy to provide: - E.g.,
1. GF batter puddings with Sunday lunch. (90p a packet for the mix in Tesco! - if you cannot make it)
2. GF cereal at breakfast. (Cornflakes kellogs do them among others)
3. GF crackers with the cheeseboard. Surely an easy option and offers choice for sweet.
There were several GF people staying this past weekend and we all had to request staff (who were helpful) for options.
Lots of good things about the Hotel, staff and facilities plus good service items (wellies to borrow, doggie towels) but just a little bit of detail in managing needed.
We stayed for a few days.They were very busy part of the weekend.
