"Warm Welcome"

Receptionist Glyn could not have done more to ensure we were warmly welcomed, ensuring we enjoyed a quiet and comfortable room and good restaurant tables. He is a great asset to this nicely refurbished property.
Freshly cooked breakfasts did not disappoint. They were delicious!
Bar food was disappointing, however. My burger was presented cool and simply reheated and re-presented with cold onion rings on top when we asked for a replacement.
My fish in the main restaurant was excellent, although we were a little surprised by the central London menu prices.
This is a gem for dog lovers as the surrounding walks on the marshes are superb when the sun shines.
Unfortunately we are not dog enthusiasts. Might we suggest that a few rooms are kept exclusively for rooms without dogs? The thought of returning to a bed that had previously been shared with a pooch, however cuddly, is rather off putting.
