The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"Daphne Suite - well worth the money!"

We decided to treat ourselves to the Daphne suite as it was our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The room was amazing with gorgeous views across the moor. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable, the bath in the room complete with duck was fab as was the bathroom. The curtains were electric and were black out, so we weren't woken too early. Nice touch to have the use of dressing gowns. We never heard anyone else in the adjacent rooms.

Dinner was relaxed in the evening and our chicken korma came out quickly after it was ordered. It wasn't the best korma in the world, but it was fairly tasty.

Breakfast the next morning was fantastic with a choice of cereals, pastries, fruit as well as cooked items - all very tasty.

A couple of niggles - but these didn't affect our stay. Where the kettle was, the glass top could have done with a good wipe down. We struggled to open the windows and 2 of the balcony doors, but managed to get one open for some fresh air.
