The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"A good Sunday roast, but not brilliant."

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our meals arrived very quickly. The beef was tender and there was plenty of it, but we suspect pre sliced and waiting. The roast potatoes were just (as in, almost hard) cooked and disappointing. There was a generous selection of veg, but my husband was a bit unhappy that it was all in one dish as the red cabbage spread over the other veg and he doesn't like red cabbage.
We were also a bit disappointed at the cost of a mixed roast. I don't expect more meat, the same amount, but different types .... just charge for the more expensive meat.
It was a decent enough meal, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.
