"Quite pricy for the food served "

Entrance from the car park is quite scruffy and looks like it is closed down. The bar area is much nicer and they do allow dogs on the bar side which is good.
The food was nice but expensive for what it was. The burger had only a small amount of chips served with it. The parsnips on one meal were inedible as they were like rubber quite obviously heated up again and again. The desserts were expensive too. £9 pound for what was a small sundee.
I felt it was most definitely for tourists with the hiked prices.
The tables were not cleared from previous guests and we had to clear our own but the table was never wiped.
Overall it was pleasant but as a local I will not be back in a hurry.
