The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"Very expensive"

We were greeted with a warm welcome, and shown to our table very quickly. Drinks and food ordered without an issue.
The beef short rib was amazing, but the chicken "Madras" curry was far from a Madras. It was a buttermilk at best.. then 45 minutes after our meal, the table was cleared and we were given dessert menus, it felt we had been forgotten about (other tables were being served all around us)
The lemon meringue was ok.. the pastry was so hard we couldn't cut into it. The chocolate fondant was nice though.
£94 for poor service, 3 meals, 3 desserts and 3 drinks, not worth what we paid for.
