The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"Disappointed "

I was excited to be going to the Jamaica Inn as I had wanted to for a while. The car park had lots of rubbish laying around on the ground. After we were seated no one came to get our drinks order. I ordered a cider and it was warm. We had to ask someone. We then got another waitress who was lovely. There was a poor choice of options for the person in our party who is a coeliac. Two of our party had the duck which was bland and not served very hot. The food overall was not great. The desserts are all very overpriced over £9 for some sorbet. Overall it was not somewhere I would recommend or visit again. It is a shame as it has so much history and could be amazing. our waitress was lovely.
