"Evening meal"

Food was nice, friendly atmosphere but the service in the restaurant was very disorganised and didn’t seem to know what they were doing at times. Throughout our entire time at the table our server would start one thing and then wander off and start doing something else. When our food was ready she brought 2 off the 4 meals to the table then went to take another tables order, we had to ask another waitress to bring the rest of the food out. At no point were we offered any drinks while at our table and had to ask another waitress for drinks, when clearing our table after main meals she took half the plates and then went to another table to take their order. When we asked for the bill we then waited again before we could pay because she got distracted again. At this point there was 3 waitresses taking an order for a table of 2 while we were still waiting to pay our bill. The food was nice but we felt the complete lack of attention from our waitress was a let down. The child’s meal came out a significant amount of time after the rest of our tables food, I’ve worked in hospitality for nearly 30 years and the children’s meals should be first to the table. We asked for some mayonnaise and the waitress brought us a bottle and said “that ones empty” as she put it on the table and walked away, why bring to us knowing it’s empty??
