The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"Bit disappointing"

Despite the historic nature of the Jamaica inn we found it to be really lacking in atmosphere on our visit. It didn't feel very authentic and the shop was filled with tacky gifts. The food was fairly average, a meal was missed off the order so had to wait for that after all the other meals had arrived at the table. Location and building are beautiful so it just feels like a missed opportunity, and it isn't done justice with the cheap approach that appears to have been taken.
