The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"5* for food, 3* for service"

The Jamaica Inn is a beautiful old building and the food was fantastic. However, it wasn't too busy in the restaurant but although we had booked we had to wait briefly for a table to be cleared. Once seated it took about 20 minutes for someone to come and take our drinks order then another 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Once we had ordered food it took a further 20 minutes for it to arrive. We wanted some more drinks during our meal and were looked at like she couldn't understand us, we were told to go to the bar for more drinks.
