The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"Great expectations, forgettable reality"

We were pretty much ignored on arrival although there were staff around us. After being seated we had to ask to have our order taken then we were made to pay straight away. Food took a long time to come and was pretty average.

I sadly get the impression that the Jamaica Inn runs off it's notariaty and guests don't recurve the service befitting such an iconic location. I doubt there is much repeat business.
