The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"Not the same :( "

The 3 stars are literally for the wonderful staff who work so hard and are so helpful. We used to stay here alot until a year ago and loved everything about it. The old style decor in the bar, time stood still and was so relaxing after a stressful time at work. We decided to came for food only on sunday and the whole place is changing! I'm not against change by any means but this beautiful historic inn is being modernised with an oldie twist. Also of the original trinkets are gone and the ambiance is very different. The food has also changed..not for the better..it pains me as we cherished every part of the Jamaica inn but sadly we will just have the memories of when we used to stay..so sad
