The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"Great atmosphere, lovely food but seriously under-staffed!"

We enjoyed our visit and meal. It's a lovely place with a great atmosphere. However, despite making a reservation we had to wait nearly 10 mins for our table. There seemed to be only one poor guy on reception and he was doing everything from clearing plates to seating guests. Staff were helpful and pleasant but there just weren't enough of them. Food took nearly 40 mins to arrive. Victims of their own success - it's a very busy, popular place, but they really need more staff.
