The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"Fantastic!"

Myself and my husband had to visit the Inn it was on our must definitely do list when we visited Cornwall and oh wow! It definitely didn’t disappoint, we spent some time in the gift shop but some gifts hoodies etc and the obligatory fridge magnets, we then walked through the farm shop which was lovely and had some really nice fresh local produce and those amazing Cornish pasties yum! After all this mooching and shopping we needed a well earned drink so made our way to the bar once we acquired our drinks we went to get seated for our pre booked meal easy to order once you had decided you just ordered at the bar, there can be a bit of a wait but it’s because it’s so popular and we did visit in August summer holidays, food was out of this world we really had trouble deciding what to eat but both settled on the jolly burger and skin on fries all I can say is yummy!! Food well presented prepared delicious and hot, all served with smiles and fantastic customer service these guys looked hot and very busy but were still able to give fantastic customer care they are a credit to the management, we are already planning our next visit and really can’t wait to tell our friends and family about our visit, one last thing that is an absolute must is the museum for a small entry fee £4 (2024) we learnt so much about the history it really is a gem! Food excellent value for money not expensive at all. Thank you for your service.
