The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"The Beast of Bodmin is a bit of a pussycat"

We stopped off on our way home from a trip to Looe for breakfast at the much talked about Jamaica Inn. Thinking it would be busy, we booked in advance.
Our 10.30 am slot was obviously one of the last as when we arrived, we were the only people in the restaurant.
We were offered the menu and I had noticed the Beast of Bodmin Breakfast (£14.95) being advertised on the board at reception. So I decided to give it a try..... my partner went for the Spinach, mushroom & tomato. On ordering my Beast of Bodmin, I was told that toast was extra (£1.95) I thought that for the price, this should have been included ???
The food came and to be honest, The Beast of Bodmin was more of a pussycat. All nicely cooked, but we had much nicer on Looe ..... and for a lot less money.
