"Acceptable food but grubby surroundings"

Third time we have come here since moving to Cornwall. A Sunday roast some months ago was virtually inedible but this visit was using a voucher bought for us as a gift . The food was pretty good actually and at a fair price . The surroundings were grubby and actually felt dirty . The table was Sticky and not a great sign of a forthcoming experience. My biggest moan would be that not one of the staff looked like they wanted to be there , or even in hospitality at all . Come on guys, cheer up .
So; grubby surroundings in need of a redecorating plan . Nice food , miserable staff .
