The Jamaica Inn, Bolventor

"Excellent food, appalling service"

Having booked a table in the restaurant we then had to queue for over 15 minutes at the bar to order a drink. Then told we had to order food at the bar also. Only two members of staff working behind the bar, seemed tired and unhurried despite many customers waiting. Would have liked to get more drinks but reluctant to leave a hot meal and queue again. After main course we would have liked dessert but after almost half an hour sitting with dirty plates we abandoned our restaurant table and moved to the bar area to order dessert.
