"Poor Service"

In a nutshell-
Positives
Friendly Staff despite pressure they were under.
Good Food.
Great Surroundings and Location.
Reasonable value for money.

Negatives
Very little time between receiving menus and asked to order.
Had not been asked about drinks, they eventually arrived half way through starters.
During entire meal never asked if we wanted more drinks. Went to the bar myself mid meal, (as other diners were doing).
Long queue at the bar with 1 person serving. Barman got my order wrong and it was only 2 drinks.
A long wait between main course and desert. Had it not have been ordered would have got up and left.
Went to the till to pay as we could not get staff attention.
It felt like once they have your order you are just left and not cared about.
More staff needed both in the bar and the restaurant.
