The Crown Hotel, Boroughbridge

"Four Night Break including Dine and Stay offer"

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Crown Hotel where the facilities are excellent including the Swimming Pool and spa.
Our room was a Standard Double which was good standard but very warm as there is no air conditioning. However the hotel provide cooling fan which stayed on all night in our room.
The three course meal on our first night was excellent as was the breakfast every morning. We had an evening meal in the bar one evening but we both had to send it back (Steak and Kidney pie - hardly any steak in it and no kidney). The hotel did off another meal which we refused and just paid for our drinks.
We would definitely stay here again as Boroughbridge is a lovely little town and so much to do and see in the area.
Highlights... spotting a pair of Otters in the small river tributary running through the town.
a visit to Newby Hall and Gardens is a must and coffee and cake in The Dining Room Cafe in town.
