"Lovely food, but expensive for what it was"

The food was lovely, however we arrived and they weren’t ready so had to sit us in the bar to have our afternoon tea. The table was huge for the 3 adults and two small children so was difficult to share out the food on stands.
It was very expensive for what it was, as children’s afternoon tea didn’t come with a drink and then there was a service charge that wasn’t optional.
There’s a £10 booking fee per person which wasn’t clear until going through to the final part of booking.
However, the staff were friendly.
