"Lovely Sunday Lunch"

We decided the night before to book a table and this went well but it took a while to be welcomed. The food was nice, as were the drinks but there didn't seem to be enough wait staff in working for the number of tables occupied. It took quite a long time between courses. We live fairly close to the venue so have been here several times since the new owners took over and it's overall been good food and drinks (the dark raspberry bellini was delicious) since it changed hands. Unfortunately, we have always paid with cash and when we tried to pay this time, we were told they no longer accepted cash. It's not noted anywhere that we could find, not on the menu, or on a poster, nor did the waitress tell us until we tried to pay that way. So it would be an idea to let customers know in advance.
