The Crown Hotel, Boroughbridge

"Great hotel, staff and location!"

Stayed here for a long weekend and loved it. Great room and facilities. Surprised its dog friendly considering how clean it is.
Becky on reception was very friendly and helpful, and all other staff too, to be fair.
We marked it down by 1 star only because of an issue with the restaurant. Mains came before the starters and then the sides came 20 minutes after we finished the mains. Actually, 1 of the sides never came but was still added to the bill. We resolved this without question. I think it was due to a large party of guests that probably meant everyone was rushed off their feet.
Food was very nice, albeit a bit on the expensive side.
Breakfast was lovely but things ran out and took a while to replenish. Oh and the toaster should have instructions on it lol... most diners were confused with it.
