"Another nice stay at The Crown Hotel"

Another lovely stay at the Crown Hotel in Boroughbridge via a Travel Zoo offer. These offers are really good value. Stayed in a Superior Double this time which was a step up from the double we had the previous visit a couple of years ago.
A King size bed gave us ample comfort whilst asleep and the room was quite spacious with a sofa giving us the opportunity to relax when watching the tv.
Wife once again utilised the pool whilst I took the opportunity to try the coffee shop( well worth it)
All Staff very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble even sorting an extension lead out prior to our arrival for use with my sleep apnoea machine.
Food was very nice throughout our stay with the Steak & Ale pie a very good choice though the Sea Bass fillets came a close second.
This is our third visit here and the second since it was taken over by the Coaching Inn group and they have totally transformed the place since it’s Best Western days. We’ve seen not only the transformation of the hotel but of the area as a whole. We will be back again.
