The Crown Hotel, Boroughbridge

"Very disappointed!"

We were so looking forward to our meal as we heard of the new management. We had high hopes and expectations as a local.

The food was not good, we waited a long time for our cutlery and some of that was when the food was in front of is. We ended up getting our own cutlery !

We ordered a burger, we were told no burger ! We ordered the pie, we were told no pie ! We orderd the chicken , we were told no chicken ! My son ordered the rhubarb drink, we were told no drink. Omg! What it this ??? We ended up with fish and chips as that was the only thing left. My son orderd roast beef and I would not describe those things on his plate vegetables. I asked for more veg in hoping fresher ones came (not looking like soggy gummy bears!) But I was told no more veg only the ones on his plate!

It was a special meal for my sons 15th bday but it ended a complete disaster ! We left as quick as we could skipping dessert !!

Very very disappointed !
Would not be returning or recommending it to anyone !
