The Crown Hotel, Boroughbridge

"Expected a little better"

I visit the Crown regularly, mainly the coffee lounge. Some visits are perfect and enjoyable but other times there isn’t enough staff. It’s the first visit for Sunday lunch, staff very pleasant and made sure we had all we needed, a little slow but we weren’t in a hurry. My partner enjoyed his meal, I found the gravy too rich and thick but ate most of my meal, I wouldn’t return for another meal but that’s my preference. I still enjoy visiting the coffee lounge for coffee and have had light lunches but in my opinion the food doesn’t appeal to me.
