"Disappointing"

Arrived 6pm expecting a full evening menu to enjoy a steak or decent grill. However my wife and I were presented with a Sunday menu only which provided limited options - no grills, steaks or any of the usual evening menu options. Roast potatoes were unavailable as was chicken. Therefore at least 5 of the limited menu options were unavailable . Oddly was told the pie of the day was steak and ale although it didn’t feature on the menu. At 6pm I would expect that all of the limited menu options to be available. To add insult to injury we were sat at a table that was not cleaned and had cutlery from previous diners. Went to another restaurant to enjoy a full meal
