The White Hart Hotel, Boston

"Do not go for afternoon tea "

So disappointed. Met up with some friends for afternoon tea. It was a quiet day yet service was all over the place, like no one knew what they were doing. We had to ask for our drinks to start with, then the sugar this was after the food had already been delivered. The afternoon tea was disappointing for the price. We had to ask for veg sticks for the kids which was on the menu to be told the chef was mixing it up a bit. Had to ask for the kids drinks. Never recieved any squash that was on the menu yet a waitress appeared with squashies. Thinking this was juice for the children told the waitress it was for the kids, she advised us they were alcohol and clearly not for our table. Kids still didn't get their juice. A friend wanted a coke with no ice and recieved ice twice. On the third attempt i asked at the bar myself for a coke with no ice as the last two had ice to be met with what i believed to be an eye roll. We asked for a doggy bag, received our left over food boxed who plastic containers and asked that before we left the White Hart with the food to sign a disclaimer regarding taking food home which I found really random. We didn't have to sign to eat there to start with 🤷‍♀️
