"Very underwhelming and poor service "

Upon arrival we waited at the sign so we could be shown our table. The lady working (duty manager?) walked past us, said hello, and the n proceeded to serve someone at the bar. We waited, assuming we’d be next and instead she carried on working behind the bar and served someone who arrived several months after- while not acknowledging us at all.
I had to call over and ask to be shown our table. She collected menus but didn’t bother to get a children’s menu when I clearly had my child in the pushchair so I had to get this.
I then needed to ask for Highchair because this hadn’t been sorted (it was added to the notes of our booking). We cleared an obvious space for it to go which was next to me and instead it was placed where there was no gap between my two friends so we then had to move it.
We weren’t given any time to properly look at the menu so we had to ask for time.
I ordered three of the nibbles plates and some sweet potato fries and asked for them to be brought out with the other mains which I was told would be fine.

My three nibbles plates were brought out first and it was about half an hour before the other mains were brought out. Then my sweet potato fries arrived.
I ordered the Yorkshire pudding bites- menu suggests these are individual mini Yorkshire’s but it’s simply one Yorkshire pudding broken up- very over priced for the quality and it was cold.
The Bao bun wasn’t good at all- it was mostly filled with dry red cabbage and only three squares of pork fat stuck on the top which weren’t edible.
The cheese fritters were very small and over cooked.
None of those plates was worth the price paid- in size, quality or temperature.

The other two mains were ok but because of the poor service, they couldn’t enjoy their food as much because we weren’t all eating together.

Overall, it was overpriced and throughly underwhelming which is a shame given how many enjoyable meals we’ve had there before.
