Nice food shocking service if I could put zero I would
We stayed the weekend in Boston and we decided to book here for dinner 8:15. We arrived on time and was shown to our table and everything was explained. The waitress was lovely and left us to look at the menus. Time went on and nothing happened and then the duty manager (Gaby) came to our table and word for word said “ I don’t know who has sat you there but the kitchen is closed!” It was clear she thought we had just sat down and thought we would be served.. we tried of explain we had been sat there and she disappeared and we were just left … so embarrassed… we got up eventually to leave as just left and I I asked for the managers name as we left. Even my husband who doesn’t usually say a thing said he felt it was disgusting treatment… the manager was called over and it turned out to be the source of our upset… a most unpleasant woman who then laughed in my face and told the team she did not say what she had said .. she went on to say that we were sat on the wrong table (apparently the one next to the one we were on) and she. The last customer comes in they shut the kitchen.. we eventually went back to our table being told we could now sit anywhere we placed a drink order and waited then the trainee deputy manager came over and wanted us to tell him what had happened he did his best to stick up for the rude gabby and offered us the drink we ordered free.. he took our order and actually the food was very nice but we were ignored we asked for another drink when our dinner was served this didn’t come when our plates were cleared we ask again for our drinks after another 15 minutes waiting we decided to leave ! I felt sorry for the waitresses as they were lovely but they also automatically add 10% to your bill as a tip a lot who were there were complaining about this and the evening was spent with people going back and forth to the toilets from the street!! Really embarrassing and upsetting experience glad I will never have to go there again!!!
