The White Hart Hotel, Boston

"Good location"

We stayed for two nights and had dinner at the hotel on the first night. The staff were all wonderful, very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. The food was great, freshly cooked at dinner and breakfast.

We had a classic room which was clean and comfortable. The en suite was quite big and very nicely decorated. It had a bath with shower over. The room was on the second floor along lots of passages and stairs, all well sign posted. The receptionist offered help with our lugggage on arrival. If we return however, I would pay extra for a room on a lower floor.

The only disappointment was that the confirmation email I received promised bottled water each day but this wasn’t in the room on arrival. When I asked the receptionist I was told there had been a change and that classic rooms no longer receive the water. As I only booked the room in April I think this should have been honoured. It was very warm in the room even with the window open and an extra bottle of water would have been most welcome.
