"Short break"

From booking to checkout the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I rang to book direct with the hotel because we required a separate shower not a shower over bath for physical reasons. The receptionist explained there was no lift and the rooms were over 3 floors but that wasn’t a problem. She then went onto offering a special deal that included 2 nights B & B and a 3 course dinner on one night of our choice at a very competitive rate. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who explained the car parking and gave us our permit. The hotel is quaint and would benefit from some updating and redecorating but the room was comfortable and very clean. The hotel menu is compact but all the food was delicious and the service extremely efficient. We did have a couple of issues during our stay but these were quickly resolved. We would certainly return if in the area again. Good tip-ring the hotel direct to find out current offers before booking on an accommodation site.
