The Castle of Brecon Hotel, Brecon

"Don't bother with Castle of Brecon if you're looking for accommodation"

The room was not as expected. It was away from the main hotel in what was a cottage, our room was on an upper floor accessed by a spiral staircase! For two 80 year olds it was difficult, especially as the room on ground floor seemed empty! Radiator in Bathroom was rusty and didn't work. Cobwebs on ceiling. Blind on skylight stuck partly open and no means to shut it. Overall the room spoilt the stay for us. Even the shower, which was over the bath proved difficult and not very good.
