The Castle of Brecon Hotel, Brecon

"Quirky hotel, lovely staff, disappointing food"

An old hotel, built into the castle, interesting internal layout. The room was large and comfortable in an old-fashioned way. The en-suite was also large but needed updating. It took a long time for the water to run hot. Dinner was disappointing. The batter on the courgette fritters and on the fish was solid and the chips were soggy. The staff, however, were friendly and attentive.
