The Castle of Brecon Hotel, Brecon

"Stay away until the renovations are complete"

The only thing great about this hotel were the staff who were incredibly nice and attentive. Make sure you bring them back! The bed was comfy but the room was shoddy and the pictures on the web site are completely fictional. We had ratty furniture, peeling paint, the handle came off the drawer, certainly no coffee machine. The kitchen staff did their best but the courgettes were burnt and the menu overly ambitious for what could be delivered. Sue in the morning breakfast was lovely.
