"Excellent as always but shame about the dinner"

I have stayed at Forest Park many times over many years Welcoming staff excellent service and facilities and rooms always immaculate. 9 out of 10 BUT dinner was a great disappointment and surprisingly poor and had not experienced that before. Haddock and chip. Presented extremely rapidly after ordering and clearly as it had been cooked some time before and NOT to order. The fish was visibly overcooked and the peas were like bullets and inedible. At the start of the meal I told the waiter about the peas . He said sorry that is all. No offer at all to replace the meal. . Fell very short of usual standard this time.
