The Forest Park Country Hotel & Inn, Brockenhurst

"Lovely clean hotel "

We stayed bank holiday Monday for 2 nights
We found the staff pleasant and helpful
We intended on cycling through the New Forest so had our bikes in the car But our car broke down and the breakdown truck took the car (with bikes) back to our home . But all was well as the hotel offered bikes for us to borrow for free !
Our hotel room was really clean and sufficient tho quite small and only had a view of the car park We asked to change rooms as we had booked for two nights but we’re told as we had booked through booking.com we would be charged £50 and if we had booked through the hotel then ww would be charged around £20 !
So we didn’t bother ..
but being at the end of the corridor the next door neighbours constant coming & going was really disturbing & the door slamming (& it needed oiling ) was extremely irritating
