The Forest Park Country Hotel & Inn, Brockenhurst

"Lovely meal but a long wait for service"

We love this hotel and this was our 4th visit but there were obviously problems with understaffing. The staff that were on duty were so busy and we didn't like to complain as they were doing their very best to try and keep up with demand but we were unable to have drinks in the garden because they were too busy to serve us and then we had to wait an hour for our drinks at the table. This is the first time this has happened so I don't think it is normal just a combination of events what with the exceptional weekend weather and staff sickness. Other than this our meal was superb and we had a lovely evening with our friends who had never been to the hotel before.
