The Forest Park Country Hotel & Inn, Brockenhurst

"Such a shame."

The staff, the hotel, bar and gardens are lovely, unfortunately the meal was a let down. This was one of the most expensive meals I have had but the quality was very lacking. I ordered Lamb rump which was undercooked and so tough I had to send it back. I couldn’t have a replacement as it would have taken 30 minutes to replace so I have a fillet steak. I ate my meal 25 minutes after my wife and the steak which was £39 was, unfortunately, nearly as chewy as the lamb. In my opinion the quality of the meat was very under par and the price of the meal was too high to reflect the quality. My wife ordered the pie which was excellent.
