"Lovely Sunday luncheon spoilt "

Lovely visit to the Forest Park with drinks on the lawn and a window table in the restaurant. Attentive service and tasty food. We all went for a 2 courser at £30 a head. It was only when the bill arrived when it started to go wrong. Despite the printed menu showing the 2 courser price apparently the computer system doesn’t recognise that option so consequently we were billed for each individual course. Didn’t spot it to start with so went ahead and part paid - then queried it and the fun started! Trying to sort out a refund, then the correct bill, took about 15-20 minutes by which time I’d asked for the service charge to be removed. Unacceptable wait for something they already knew about and should rectify their system software. Took the edge off an otherwise enjoyable visit.
