The Forest Park Country Hotel & Inn, Brockenhurst

"Beautiful location and gardens."

I booked for Sunday lunch. The roasts were lovely and staff were very friendly and polite. The décor inside was charming, fitting with the rest of the building. We sat in the gardens after lunch at the outside bar. My only gripe is the girl at the outside bar was very confused when I ordered two gins and one bottle of tonic and put one of the gins in a wine glass. There was music outside which was nice but when it stopped and we asked if it could be put back on she said no because the guys phone it was running off had finished his shift. Seems an odd way for a top hotel to operate the music. I liked the big screens outside so people could watch the football. Plenty of outdoor seating and deck chairs. Overall though, a lovely afternoon.
