The Forest Park Country Hotel & Inn, Brockenhurst

"Great food 'but' !"

After a perfect previous visit we decided to return for our annual sibling get together (8 of us all senior bods), the food was again 'first class' - but - we were seated in the 'ordinary bar area' and not in the rather splendid restaurant, this did not detract from the quality but was certainly not the ambience we expected and the service was more bar type than restaurant. This obviously set a different atmosphere.
